Thanks be to GOD for Gilbert and Esther and for the ministry Love with actions. the good and godly work of LWA is making a life changing difference in the lives of children with disabilities and their families. we pray this ministry will continue to flourish, thrive and grow.
I have known Gilbert since 2004. As our lives intersected while I was in Rwanda for 10 years, I witnessed Gilbert’s passion for God and his word, his commitment to grow, learn, and gain entrepreneurial skills. It was no surprise when he told me about going to visit the mom and her disabled children he had seen featured on a TV show. It was within his character to do what he could to help them out of his and Esther’s meager resources. He followed God’s heart to begin small with Love With Actions, and God has kept enlarging the vision while Gilbert and Esther pray and obey. I am privileged to be cheering from the sidelines as a member of his Advisory Board.
I have known Gilbert Kubwimana since 2004. It has been a joy and privilege to see how God has worked in and through Gilbert over the past 21 years! When Gilbert first told me and my husband about LWA in 2017, we were supportive but never would have imagined how it would grow and how God would bless the work that is done there. During our visit in 2022, we were able to see first-hand the comprehensive care and advocacy that both the children with disabilities and their families receive through LWA. So many facets of life including good nutrition, medical care, physical therapy and medication along with education, spiritual care, community involvement and income generating projects are addressed in this ministry. They have a dedicated staff who see the value and dignity in each child and also esteem and assist the child’s family. I continue to support LWA because it is managed so very well and it is obvious to me that the work being done is truly the work of Christ in loving the “least of these”
