Love with Actions invited 40 Pastors from Bumbogo and Nduba to gather and learn about equality in the church.
Despite the immense progress that Rwanda has made in recent years, there has still been discrimination prevalent in the church. Many churches have refused to baptize children with disabilities and their parents. The mothers of children with disabilities have been largely cast out from fellowship in the church, and they have been left without the joy of worship with their friends.
All of these amazing Pastors from around Kigali, accepted the invitation to Love with Actions. They gathered to learn about the rights of disabled children in the church, and we are overjoyed by the response we got.
We expect to see a growing change in Rwanda, including the welcoming of disabled children and their families back into the church. We look forward to celebrating their baptisms and worshipping alongside them in the future!
Everyone is equal in God’s eyes and worthy of His love!
