Aime was born on October 11, 2006, with spina bifida and club feet. From his very first breath, life placed challenges before him. His mother faced her own heartbreak as well — disowned by her family because of Aime’s condition, she carried the weight of raising her son and his siblings alone.

For the first ten years of his life, Aime had no use of his lower body. With resilience far beyond his years, he would scoot through the dirt using only his arms, determined to move forward no matter the obstacles. Yet, the road ahead seemed uncertain — until Love With Actions (LWA) stepped in.

LWA intervened and arranged for Aime to receive life-changing orthopedic treatment. His legs and feet were casted at a specialized hospital, opening up a new world of possibility. Beyond medical care, LWA provided a stable home for Aime, his mother, and his brothers — a safe place where healing and growth could take root.

Today, Aime can walk with crutches. It’s not easy — it takes regular physical and occupational therapy, but Aime approaches it all with fierce determination and purpose. Thanks to LWA, he also has the chance to go to school. LWA covers his school fees, supplies, and all the tools he needs to learn and thrive. He is now proudly in the 6th grade.

Aime often says that before LWA, people told him he wasn’t “normal.” But now, he stands tall among his classmates, learning and dreaming just like any other child. His story is one of courage, transformation, and the power of love in action.
