Bella, born on June 1st, 2021, entered the world with a strong spirit, despite the challenges she would soon face. Diagnosed with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, Bella’s early years were filled with medical complexities that made basic milestones—like sitting, crawling, standing, and walking—difficult for her.
Her early life took an unexpected turn when both of her parents made the heartbreaking decision to abandon her. But in the midst of adversity, Bella found a loving, caring guardian in her grandmother, Dativa. Dativa’s unwavering devotion to Bella’s well-being became the beacon of light in the young girl’s life.
However, raising Bella was no easy feat. Dativa faced immense financial struggles, particularly in covering the costs of essential psychiatric medications, as well as the vital Physiotherapy (PT) and Occupational Therapy (OT) that Bella needed for her development. The burden was overwhelming, but Dativa’s love for her granddaughter never wavered.
Then, everything changed when Bella was introduced to the Life With Ability (LWA) Center. From the moment they met, it was clear that Bella was in a place where hope could blossom. At LWA, Bella began to receive the critical care she desperately needed. With dedicated PT and OT services, Bella’s progress started to shine. She now receives the medical support that will help her develop physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Today, Bella is thriving with the continuous therapy and care she receives at the LWA Center. While she still faces obstacles, her determination and the commitment of those around her, including her loving grandmother Dativa, show the power of hope and perseverance. Thanks to LWA, Bella now has the support to work toward her goals of independence and a brighter future.
The journey is far from over, but every small victory is a testament to Bella’s incredible strength and the love that surrounds her. With LWA’s help, Bella is moving forward, one step at a time.
