Age: 6

Elishadai a six years old, she was a little girl growing up alongside her two siblings in a small, humble home. Life had never been easy for their family, and they had to make do with what little they had. One fateful day, disaster struck when a flood ravaged their village, causing their tiny house to collapse. Tragically, Elishadai was caught under the rubbish and lost one of her legs.

With no means to afford medical treatment on their own, Elishadai’s family felt helpless as they struggled to cope with the aftermath of the devastating incident. However, hope came in an unexpected form when Love with Actions staff arrived in their community while conducting home therapy sessions.

As news spread about Elishadai’s plight, compassionate neighbors stepped forward to advocate on her behalf. Thanks to the support of LWA and the generosity of kind-hearted donors, Elishadai finally had access to skilled doctors who provided her with a prosthetic limb and performed necessary surgery for her leg.

With this newfound mobility and support from LWA’s initiatives, Elishadai regained independence and resumed activities that she once thought were out of reach. Most significantly, she now has the opportunity to attend school – something that seemed unattainable before she encountered Love with Actions’ assistance.

Elishadai’s story is just one among many children who have benefited from LWA’s impactful work. Through persistent dedication and support from compassionate donors who stand by these children with disabilities, lives are being transformed for the better each day.
