Francoise’s Journey: From Isolation to Inclusion
Francoise was born on January 26, 2015, under difficult circumstances that led to her diagnosis of cerebral palsy. From the very start, her life was marked by challenges beyond her control. Growing up, her family faced deep social discrimination in their community — neighbors spoke hurtful words, and doors that should have been open were closed. Francoise spent much of her early childhood isolated, hidden away not by choice, but by the heavy weight of stigma.
Her parents, struggling with unemployment, were also battling the heartbreak of watching their daughter be marginalized. But hope found a way in.
Through Love With Actions (LWA), Francoise and her family found not just support — but a new beginning. Both of her parents became part of the LWA family. Her mother joined a women’s cooperative, handcrafting beautiful greeting cards that celebrate resilience and creativity. Her father took up meaningful work as a driver with LWA, transporting students to and from the hospital and school, ensuring children like Francoise get the care they deserve.
Francoise’s own transformation has been nothing short of remarkable. After five years of dedicated, free physical and occupational therapy provided by Love With Actions, she can now sit and stand on her own. She plays with toys, expresses herself with joy, and — perhaps most importantly — she smiles freely.
Today, Francoise attends Love With Actions Academy, an inclusive school where she is not just welcomed — she belongs. She has made many friends and thrives in an environment where diversity is celebrated, not shunned. For a child once locked away because of discrimination, Francoise now embraces each day full of laughter, learning, and love.
At Love With Actions, we are committed to breaking barriers and building brighter futures. Francoise’s story is just one example of how compassion, community, and opportunity can change a life forever.
