Kezia’s story is one of resilience, strength, and love. Born on July 7th, 2019, to a single mother Annonciatta who faced immense challenges of her own, Kezia’s early life was marked by difficult decisions. Her mother, unable to provide the care and resources she so desperately needed, made the heart-wrenching choice to place Kezia in the hands of her grandmother, an elderly woman struggling with her own poverty and limited resources.

Despite her circumstances, Kezia’s grandmother embraced the responsibility with a heart full of love and determination. Living in a modest home, the grandmother did everything she could to provide the best care for her granddaughter, even though life was not easy. She was a woman of deep faith and unshakable resolve, who took pride in caring for Kezia with all the love she could offer.

Kezia was born with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, a condition that affects all four limbs and requires constant physical and occupational therapy. This, however, never diminished the light in Kezia’s eyes. Her sweet spirit became a beacon of hope for all who encountered her. She may not have had the physical strength that many of her peers did, but she had a resilience that was undeniable.

Thanks to the support of organizations like Love with Actions, Kezia began receiving regular physical therapy (PT) and occupational therapy (OT), which helped improve her mobility and overall well-being. These therapies, coupled with the seizure medication she receives, allowed Kezia to make progress, even though her journey was often challenging.

Despite the difficulties she faces daily, Kezia’s story is not one of despair but one of hope and love. The bond between her and her grandmother is profound, built on years of nurturing care and shared dreams for a brighter future. Though their circumstances are far from easy, the love and faith they share have made all the difference in Kezia’s life.

As she grows, Kezia’s journey continues to unfold, shaped by the compassion and strength of the people around her. She may have been born into hardship, but with every step forward, she proves that love can overcome even the most difficult of circumstances.
