A Journey of Resilience and Hope

Deus was born on February 14, 2020, a day often celebrated as a symbol of love. Yet, his early life was marked by challenges few could imagine. Diagnosed with severe Cerebral Palsy, Deus began his life with complex medical needs. By the time he was just two months old, he developed seizures and significant developmental difficulties.

At 9 months old, another heartbreak struck. Deus’s father, overwhelmed by the situation, abandoned the family, leaving his mother to carry the weight alone. She struggled—not only emotionally but also financially—trying to make sense of why her husband left and how she could care for her vulnerable child.

When Love with Actions (LWA) first met Deus and his mother, the situation was dire. Deus was no longer receiving the psychiatric medications or physical therapy he desperately needed. He was unable to sit, stand, or walk, and his mother was battling deep depression, unsure of how to move forward and desperate for help to cover her son’s medical needs.

LWA stepped in, determined to stand beside Deus and his mother. Today, thanks to your support:

  • Deus receives consistent medications.
  • He benefits from regular physical therapy (PT) and occupational therapy (OT).
  • His mother has regained hope and strength, knowing she is not alone.

Deus’s story is far from over. With each small milestone and every act of kindness from supporters like you, he is growing stronger. Together, we are helping him unlock his potential, one day at a time.

You can be part of Deus’s journey.
