Mabelle is the beloved first daughter of Jean Baptiste and Aline, born on January 17, 2022. From the moment she arrived, her gentle spirit and beautiful smile captured the hearts of her family and everyone around her. However, soon after birth, Mabelle was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy (CP), a condition that affects movement, muscle tone, and posture.

When Mabelle first met the team at LWA (Love With Action), she faced significant challenges. Her head control was weak; she couldn’t sit, crawl, stand, or walk. Simple actions like grasping and holding objects with her hands were difficult, and her mother Aline faced daily struggles caring for her. Accessing physiotherapy and occupational therapy — both essential for Mabelle’s development — was a heavy burden on the family, both emotionally and financially.

Through the support of LWA, Mabelle’s story began to change. LWA provided her with free, professional physiotherapy (PT) and occupational therapy (OT) sessions at their center. These therapies are helping her improve her motor skills, posture, and mobility step by step. But LWA’s support didn’t stop there.

Recognizing the importance of empowering Mabelle’s family, LWA also stepped in to support Aline. They taught her knitting skills, equipping her with the ability to start her own small business. This not only helps sustain her family but also gives her confidence and independence, creating a stronger foundation for Mabelle’s care.

Today, Mabelle continues her therapy journey with courage and determination, surrounded by a loving community that believes in her potential. Her family is growing stronger and more resilient every day. Thanks to LWA and the kindness of supporters, Mabelle’s story is not just one of struggle, but of hope, progress, and empowerment.

Together, we are building a future where Mabelle can thrive.
