Ishimwe Lucky Emmy is a 5-year-old boy and the third-born child of Claudine and Benjamin, in a family of three children. He lives with both of his parents, who are committed to supporting his growth and well-being.

Lucky was born with Down syndrome and, until recently, had not had access to rehabilitation services that could help him reach his developmental potential. Today, he is enrolled in the Love with Actions program, where he receives both occupational therapy and physical therapy tailored to his individual needs.

At this stage, Lucky is not yet able to communicate verbally, stand independently, or walk on his own. Through consistent therapy, encouragement, and specialized support, he is working toward achieving important developmental milestones that will improve his independence and quality of life.

In addition to his developmental challenges, Lucky is under medical care for a ventricular septal defect , a congenital heart condition. He is currently being monitored by medical professionals and is awaiting corrective heart surgery.

With the support of generous donors and partners, Love with Actions is able to provide children like Lucky with the therapy, care, and opportunities they need to thrive. Your support gives hope to families and helps children build brighter, healthier futures.
